GA Impress Image is one of the newest additions to Caledonia Egyptian Arabians. After experiencing the excellent sucess with crossing Nagib to Ansata Abu Sudan daughter's we felt it necessary to add yet Abu Sudan daughter.
GA Impress Image is a excellent representation of the Saglawi strain. Image has a beautifully chiseled head. She has beautiful Arabian type, nice conformation and stretch. This combination of the Ansata and Imperial blood is exquisitely represented in this mare.
Image came from the legendary Gibson Arabian Stud who owned and stood Imperial Imperor for a good part of his short life. Image is from a direct Ansata sire line, an Imperial grandsire and a tail female to Bint Bint Mabrouka.
GA Impress Image is one of the last remaining Ansata Abu Sudan daughters in the USA. Ansata Abu Sudan was a Reserve Halter Champion, a multiple Most Classic winner and was known for the excellent broodmares he produced. Ansata Abu Sudan was by the 1971 US National Champion Stallion Ansata Ibn Sudan and out of *Ansata Bint Misuna (an own daughter of Nazeer).
Image is out of GA Impress. GA Impress is an own daughter of Imperial Imperor. Though Imperial Imperor passed away at a young age he left a legacy in the few foals that he produced. Imperor was garnered awards for Get of Sire. Imperial Imperor produced such phenomenal horses as GA Moon Tajhalima-Dam of Farid Nile Moon the 2001 EE Supreme Champion stallion and GA Moon Tajmahal-US Nationals Top Ten Mare.
GA Impress is out of *Bint Rakia. *Bint Rakia is a paternal sister of *Lancers Sahm. *Bint Rakia's sire Sabeel is a full brother to halter champion and sire of champions *AK Shahm. *Bint Rakia's dam is a own daughter of Anter-producers of noted broodmares.
We feel that GA Impress Image will be an excellent addition to our small breeding program. Our plan is to possibly start embryo transfer work in the early summer of 2009.
