VP Subtle Touch is a 1984 Egyptian-related daughter of El Hilal. Subtle Touch is a beautiful, classic mare with an outstanding personality. Subtle's huge, beautiful dark eyes are definitely the opening to her soul. Subtle is the heart and soul of our small broodmare band. Though she has remained barren during her stay at Caledonia her presence is an integral part of daily herd life. Subtle Touch's breeding is the breeding of champions.

VP Subtle Touch's dam HM Amber Drift (by *Silver Drift) garnered herself the status of Aristocrat mare with the production of five Champion horses, a number of which are Subtle's full siblings. Subtle's full sister Ambrosiaa was purchased by Count Federico Zichy-Thyssen of Argentina. Ambrosiaa went on to produce champion producing foals. Her foal ZT Jamara by Jamilll went on to produce ZT Shakjamara (*El Shaklan) who garnered the titles of 1999 Egyptian Event Supreme and Senior Champion Mare as well 1998 All Nations Cup Champion Mare and Reserve World Champion Mare at the Salon Du Cheval.

VP Subtle Touch's sire El Hilal was by * Ansata Ibn Halima and out of *Bint Nefisaa (by Nazeer). El Hilal acquired the titles of United States and Canadian Top Ten Stallion and was the sire and grandsire of National, Top Ten and Regional Champions.
